The public-private partnership focused on promoting economic development efforts in Greenville-Pitt County has rebranded and changed its name from the Greenville Eastern North Carolina (ENC) Alliance to Invest Greenville, marking a new chapter in the organization’s mission. Founded in 2019, the organization provides a comprehensive and collaborative approach to business recruitment, community marketing and promotion, and talent attraction and retention.

“In an ever-increasing competitive landscape where technology has enhanced the ability for any organization or community to produce content and advertise, it is more important than ever to be able to differentiate by creating an identity that is easily recognizable,” said Josh Lewis, CEcD, president and CEO of Invest Greenville. “The Invest Greenville brand will help us achieve those objectives by not only being clear and concise, but also directly representing the mission of the organization. This transition will help ensure there is no confusion among stakeholders as to who we are and where our efforts are focused.”

Over the past five years, Invest Greenville has worked with its community partners to win 25 economic development projects, bringing more than $1.6 billion in new capital investment and more than 6,000 jobs to Pitt County. As a result, the community has sustained economic momentum from industries in advanced manufacturing, life sciences, and emerging technology and content creation.

“Through our award-winning economic development organization, we’ve seen firsthand what can happen when the public and private sectors align around a common vision for growth,” said Aaron Driver, chair of the Invest Greenville board of directors and president of IIC Carolinas. “The Invest Greenville brand reflects the progress we’ve achieved and the ambition we have for what comes next in Greenville-Pitt County. We are not slowing down.”

The brand evolution follows nearly a year of planning, stakeholder engagement, and advisory support from a board appointed-task force, including Greg Steele of TowneBank, Tyler Fortner of 264 Shoes and Apparel, Jennifer Cargile of LBA Group, and Katie Holloman of Haystack Realty.

The Invest Greenville brand was developed with assistance from Development Counsellors International (DCI), a leading economic development marketing agency for more than 60 years. The new logo’s color palette includes Kyanite Blue and Luna Green. The refined G icon, with an arrow pointing toward progress, is filled with a dynamic gradient signifying collaboration and partnership.

“The Invest Greenville brand captures the energy and opportunity that define our community and further showcases that Greenville-Pitt County is a place where businesses grow, and talent thrives,” said Maria Satira, vice president of marketing and talent programming for Invest Greenville. “This new identity strengthens how we’re telling that story and creates a cohesive platform for marketing, talent attraction, and community engagement.”

Invest Greenville is powered by public-sector support from the City of Greenville, Greenville Utilities Commission, and Pitt County Government, as well as more than 120 private-sector investors.

"We look forward to seeing the Invest Greenville brand accelerate our current momentum and propel the community into a leader among small metros across the country,” added Lewis. “By aligning our identity with our mission, we are positioning Greenville and Pitt County to attract investment and create opportunity for generations to come.”
